Pricing at Clean Roots

Rooted in clarity, care, and honest communication. Every home has its own rhythm. I want to understand yours the best I can so I can care for your space with intention and respect. These expectations help us start on the same page and keep everything flowing smoothly.

Your first visit: 

For your first visit, I ask that you’re home so we can meet, walk through your space together, and talk about what matters most to you. Every home has its own rhythm, and I want to understand yours — your preferences, your routines, and the little details that help your space feel cared for. After that first clean, if you can’t be home, that’s completely okay. Once I know your needs and the flow of your home, I can move through the space with the same grounded, steady care each time.

Ongoing visits: 

If you are unable to be home during your visit, please make sure your home is unlocked. When I arrive, I anticipate a smooth entry- this allows me to get right to work. If I am unable to enter and the visit cannot begin, a $55 fee will be charged to honor the time set aside for you.  

For clarity and comfort of everyone involved, I also ask that you let me know if there are any cameras recording inside the home during my visit. I fully respect your space and your safety- I simply want to be aware when I am on camera so I can move through your home with transparency. 

Caring for your space:

I use as many pet‑friendly, kid‑friendly, and environmentally gentle cleaners as possible. Sometimes a space may need a stronger, more common product — like something with bleach — but it will always be used thoughtfully and rinsed thoroughly. I bring my own supplies, including trash bags for easy changes, but if you prefer, I use your products, I’m more than happy to. My goal is to meet your needs with openness and care, even if the request isn’t listed. You can always talk to me — your comfort and your home’s well‑being matter deeply to me.

I am completely comfortable working in homes with pets-cats, dogs, or both. I just ask you to let me know ahead of time. For everyone's safety I simply ask that pets are kept in a separate area during the cleaning so I can move through your space safely and fully complete the service without stress for them or myself.

Your home, your belongings, and your privacy are always respected. Anything that I see or hear in your home will stay there- no exceptions. 

Please do note: 

- Prices of cleanings can vary due to condition/ workload of the home for each visit. 

-  If Clean Roots is using your own cleaning products- prices will stay the same. 

Re-Centering with products you prefer: 

If you feel most at ease when certain products are used in your home, I am happy to respect that. You are welcome to provide any cleaner or tools if they are what make your space feel grounded and cared for. The price of your visit will remain the same either way- my intention is to work with what feels right for you. 

Home Preparation:

To help me care for your home with ease, I ask that surfaces are gently cleared, floors are free of any major clutter, and your pets secured if needed. This allows me to work efficiently through your home. 

If a home has significant clutter that requires extra time, or additional work to clean around, a $55 upcharge will be added to that visit. This helps ensure that I can give your space the steady, thorough care it needs. 

Scheduling and Preferred days: 

When reaching out to book, you are welcome to share the days and times that feel best for your rhythm. From there, we will look at my current openings and find the spot that aligns for both of us. My goal is to create a schedule that feels steady, reliable, and rooted – something that supports your home without adding stress. 

Clean Roots operates on a Monday-Friday schedule. Weekends are set asides for rest, family and maintaining my own roots. Because of this, I do not offer regular Saturday or Sunday cleanings.

While weekends are not a part of my schedule, I understand that life can get messy without warning. If you ever find yourself needing a Saturday or Sunday cleaning in a true pinch, I can occasionally make an exception. This requires shifting my daytime rhythm, a $55 weekend up- charge will be added to that visit. 

Before and After Photos: 

To protect both you and Clean Roots, I may take before‑and‑after photos of the areas I clean. These photos are used only for documentation, quality assurance, and to clarify any questions about the condition of a space. Photos are never shared publicly without your explicit permission.

Photos may include:

• Rooms and cleaned areas
• Surfaces, appliances, and fixtures
• General home layout (without personal items highlighted)

Photos will not include:

• Faces
• Family members
• Personal documents
• Sensitive or private items

Arrival time/ Cancellations for both parties: 

To honor everyone’s time, I work within a 30–60-minute arrival window. If I am running behind, you will always get a message. No guessing, no silence, complete transparency. 

I understand life happens. If you need to re-schedule, please give 24-hour notice. If you cancel on the same day- to cover the lost time, a $55 charge will be billed. 

To re-schedule simply just text or call in advance. 

Weather and Emergency: 

Your safety and mine come first. In the event of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, power outages, or any emergency that makes travel or cleaning unsafe, Clean Roots may need to be delayed or reschedule your appointment. I will communicate with you as soon as possible so we can find the next available time that works. 

If there is an unexpected situation or emergency in your home – please reach out. 

Payment: DUE DAY OF SERVICE, ALWAYS!

Pricing is rooted in honesty and clarity. Payment is due on the day of service. Cash, Check, or Venmo is accepted. 

If payment is not made on the day of service, I will reach out to settle the balance. Unpaid invoices may result in delayed or canceled future booking until payment is paid in full. 

Late Payments: 

If I don’t receive your payment on the day of service, I will always communicate to know where things stand. 

Late payments will incur a late fee of $55, added to your next visit. 

Not included: 

To keep every visit safe, intentional, and within the gentle rhythm of Clean Roots, there are certain tasks I do not offer. This includes climbing on tall ladders, mold removal, wall washing, maid-style duties, or any outside window cleaning. I also do not move heavy furniture, carry heavy items, shampoo or steam carpets, remove stains from upholstery or carpets, or take apart appliance for deep cleaning. Interior oven or fridge scrubbing that requires chemical soaking, ceiling fan cleaning that needs a ladder, vent or duct cleaning, fireplace or ash removal, hoarding-level cleanouts, and exterior home tasks such as gutters, siding, garages, or porches are also not included. These boundaries help keep our work grounded, safe, and focused on the care I can confidently provide. 

Damage Policy:

I treat every home with care, but accidents can happen. If something is damaged during a cleaning, I will notify you right away so we can review it together. 

Items that are already loose, unstable, worn, or fragile — such as aging blinds, loose shelves, unstable décor, or improperly installed fixtures — are not covered, as they may break with normal handling.

My goal is always to clean with intention, communicate openly, and handle any concerns with honesty and respect.

Right to Refuse Service: 

- Conditions are unsafe

- Harassment or inappropriate behavior

- Home is beyond the agreed-upon scope

- Pets are not properly placed

- Payment has not been provided 

A Rooted Sense of Comfort: 

If something feels missed, please, please, please, please reach out within 24 hours. I will return to make it right. Requests made after that time, or for tasks outside original scope. May require an additional visit or fee.

Honest, open communication helps ensure you’re always getting the care, clarity, and level of cleaning that truly helps support your space. When we stay transparent with each other, it keeps everything grounded as we grow.
